Jarrow Formulas BroccoMax
Jarrow Formulas BroccoMax is a broccoli seed extract food supplement in vegetarian capsules. It supplies sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS), also called glucoraphanin, the natural compound in broccoli that is converted into sulforaphane.
Key features
- 30mg SGS per delayed-release (DR) capsule
- Shown in vitro to yield about 8mg of sulforaphane per capsule
- Made with a patented process that keeps myrosinase, the broccoli enzyme that turns SGS into sulforaphane
- Conversion takes place in the small intestine
- Vegetarian capsules
Keeping myrosinase is the key difference with this extract, and the delayed-release capsule is designed so the contents pass the stomach before they are released. It is an easy way to take a measured amount of broccoli seed extract.
Available in 60 vcaps and 120 vcaps.
