L-Glutamine, Glutamine

Glutamine powder and capsules explained

L-glutamine is an amino acid that many people who train add to their shakes. Most of this range is unflavoured powder, which mixes into water, protein shakes or other drinks, from brands including Weider, Applied Nutrition, SciTec, Dorian Yates and 5% Nutrition. Micronised versions are milled finer so they stir in more easily.

If you prefer not to measure powder, NOW Foods, Swanson and Jarrow Formulas offer capsules. There are also blends such as OstroVit BCAA + Glutamine, and N-acetyl-L-glutamine from SAN.
