EpiCor starts as a yeast culture given plenty of oxygen to grow. At its healthiest point the oxygen is reduced, and the yeast responds by producing a range of protective metabolites. The whole culture, yeast cells and liquid, is then harvested, dried and standardised under strict quality checks. This process is what sets EpiCor apart from other yeast-based ingredients and gives it such a varied natural profile.
