Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid. Muscle cells combine it with histidine to make carnosine, a dipeptide found in muscle tissue. A plain powder lets you add it to your own drinks and adjust your routine around training days.

Recommended use
Take a 1/2 level teaspoon 3 to 4 times daily. Mix into 8 fl. oz. of water or your favorite beverage. For best results, allow at least 2 hours between doses.
