L-citrulline or citrulline malate?

L-citrulline is the pure amino acid. Citrulline malate combines it with malic acid, most often in a 2:1 ratio, so a serving contains less citrulline by weight. Check the label to see which form is used and how much is in each serving.

Powder or capsules?

Powder is better value for larger servings and mixes into water or your pre-workout. Capsules and shots are easier to take on the go.
