About BCAAs
Leucine, isoleucine and valine are known as branched chain amino acids because of the shape of their molecular structure. All three are essential amino acids, which means the body cannot produce them and they must come from food or supplements. They are found in protein-rich foods such as meat, eggs, dairy and pulses.
