Jarrow Formulas R-Alpha Lipoic Acid + Biotin is a capsule food supplement providing the R form of alpha lipoic acid together with d-biotin. The R form is the version of alpha lipoic acid found naturally in plants, animals and the human body.

Alpha lipoic acid exists in two mirror-image forms, R and S, and many standard products contain a mix of both.
